Some Great Fidings.

This week was pretty nice to me. I found some interesting items to my collection, I always get lucky and find interesting and cool things, I am lucky indeed.


This is the first one, a Reprinting Superman book, collection stories from the 30´s through the 70´s. It was published by Bonanza books in 1971. Pretty rare and hard to find, a real treasure.


It collects the first Superman appearance, Action Comics #1, not to mention other gems from Superman´s library. Some pages are colorful and other in black &white, which makes the book special and one of kind. Also, a large collection of covers and other stuff, as a big Superman fan, I love I found it and I can add to my collection.

This is the second thing, finally my Ladyhawke CD came, a special edition with 5 bonus tracks including acoustic versions of My delirium, Paris is Burning and others.I had to wait almost a month to get it but worth every minute. lol

I also got Season 6 and 7 of Buffy, The vampire Slayer. I didn´t have those, here in Brazil both weren´t release and I found both for so cheap, the price of one and both are imported and in fantastic condition. I didn´t believe when I saw both them and the price. Now they are mine. Sorry, I didn´t posted the photo but you can see underneath,all items together.

I have to say, was a hell of week and I loved it not only because of those findings, but now, to close the week, a great night out. Se you later. Ah! This Sunday, I will read the whole book and watch some episodes.

Funny.

I just stopped by to write some words, after all, new month and some new posts. Nothing new happened in fact, this new month brought (so far) some good things. I can buy my comics, I´m going this Saturday to My friend Dani Calazans´ show, in Leblon and I have plans to take photos, tape some songs too and post, that´s why I bought a new memory card for both camera and cellphone, more updates next week.


I am also looking forward to buying my Ladhawke´s CD, it´s taking more to receive it than I imagined but I am sure this week is the deadline (I hope).



Ah! I also started reading a Manga named Elfe Lied, I am not a big Manga fan or reader but I decided to give it a chance, let´s see if it is worth.

Dependable.

I am dependable of computer, not only in my work but in private life as well. Right now, I have a free time and I went to Facebook and there is some technical issue so I can´t play my (stupid) games and I kind of feeling frustrated, I also have so problems while I was doing some important work today, our PC had some "technical" issue as well and I had to do the work by hand but I can´t play the games by hand... not possible.

The only think I can do is wait, do other things like twitter and tumblr, also checking my e-mails, waiting for Facebook return to his technical issues. My luck is later, I have other important things to do so, it´s my time to be away from Facebook. My own technical issues.

I Have to Write!

I really do, I have to write more. Since I stopped, for some stupid reasons, I feel that urge to write but sometimes, I get lazy or I have nothing to write so, I procrastinate it. I have to return to my old writing routine, I really started it doing my #FF comics but this week, I feel bad I (again) couldn´t finish it, I want to do that so much, I want it to be so organized, so fancy that I get bored and don´t finish it but next week, will be done.


I also need some or at least one ( for a start) novel be published, I really need it... so bad.

Ladyhawke.

Recently, I heard one song, on the radio but the station didn´t and that female voice and lyrics just got stuck in my mind and I had to looking for who she was.


I totally by chance discovered the name of the song "My Delirium" and the artist Ladyhawke. Her real name is Phillipa Brown, a New Zealand singer, and multi-instrumentalist . I just fell in love with her music and I became a fan, not hard because of her style and strong lyrics which gather me into her sound.






I watched some of her videos and performances on youtube and I like, specially because she is very powerful on stage, she has a strong voice and her shows, at least what I could she on video demonstrated that.
You can see this photo what I saw, I wish one day I can see her live, maybe she can go to Brazil or I can go, when I go to UK, she might performance there by that time.


Today, I ordered her album, here, when something is too cool you ca´t find, specially albums but no problem, in two weeks, I will receive my copy her her debut album... I can´t wait to upload her songs on my cellphone and MP4 player.

August.

Well, August is reaching its final days and I am glad, I really am. To be true this year was a pretty nice and strange month, some good moments and some others I am sure I will do everything yo forget it.


Interesting was that I achieved some good things, I bought some items to my collection I thought ´d never, I take a trip to São Paulo, I met someone pretty nice and I will start doing some things I really missed but for some stupid reason I just put aside and stop doing but I will start over, my #FF comics as well as my novels and that is really exciting me.


I also had some revelation, bad one about some stupidities I was doing and some people I really didn´t expected the worst but they reached that level. Now, I am ready to not be fooled or even tricked by anyone. Those "revelations" really hurt me, but I am strong and I am not dead yet, I am stronger than ever and no one will do that again, no one!


I also got something, a present from a adorable friend, someone I really love and admire, she is such I friend I can cont, someone I can talk about anything, I am not saying it because of the lovely present she gave me but everything she´s done to me, my lovely friend Sharon, which I have no words to say how much I love your present and how much you are special to me.


This is it, a new month is about to start and even with some obstacles, I will continue to be happy and confident because the worst is over and now, only the best is yet to come and come good things, come!
