DVDs.

Two weeks ago, I had to buy another bookcase, in fact one bookcase for my always growing book collection and another, this time a DVDcase. I had to get a new one because my DVDs are so many that my old one was small for my also growing DVD collection. I had to put all my DVDs on the floor so I could arrange them in order, and I had an idea, I took pictures of my DVDs. It´s pretty strange but I did, stranger was i forgot the pictures, I stored them and I forgot.

Last Monday, after I returned form a trip, I remembered those pictures and I uploaded in my computer and now I´ll add on my blog, to show my DVD collection. Please, don´t go thinking I´m an obsessive person or even a geek, okay, I am but it´s okay, I´m cool with it and so you can be too.

This is my movie collection. Well, it´s just a part
of it, I have more. I spotlight Ghost World
because I love both movie and Graphic Novel. It´s a touching movie, showing how growing up is so hard and can affect our lives forever. You can also see Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Superman Return and many others. I love those comics movies, I know they are sometimes silly and stuff but i love. After all, I´m a huge comic book fan and it´s cool , isn´t it?

This is my Smallville boxes, season one to seven. I have to buy the eighth season (money, money). I still like Smallville, I know it has problems and some seasons weren´t goo but I like it, I love Superman so, I´ll stick until it ends, maybe this season or not but i´ll stick around. you can also see my Lois and Clark collections and my precious Speed Racer box with all cartoons. I still love and this one if my all time favorite cartoon. Go Speedy!

The Classic Adventures of Superman starring George Reeves is my treasure. I love this series and I have all volumes. I spent a good money on them and worth every cent. It has all, Superman at his best, silver age gala and magic. It´s pretty primitive in terms of special effects. They way Superman flies and how he jumps, using a little trampoline which is on almost scene. It´s also naive and childish but has the Superman spirit of "Truth, Justice and the American way". I have to watch the fourth season which this Sunday will be the day.

These two movies are my all time favorite. Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. The story of these two strangers meeting each other and start a relationship is my type of love story. Not to mention it´s well written and exquisitely shoot. Both Jilie Delpy and Ethan Hawke gave life to these characters and the sequel is even better . They meet again after ten years and it´s also a touching story of lost and found . I recommend to all at least watch it once, I do that once a year to help me writing my own love stories and one day i´ll meet my strange and we´ll live a romantic adventure.

Dead Like me and Point Pleasant are amazing! I still love those series even though they aren´t on TV anymore. Dead Like Me returned as a Direct to DVD movie, the one on spotlight. I like the movie and it closed the series and opened a possible return which never happened. Point Pleasant was extraordinary too, the story of a mysterious girl who arrived in a small coast city and changed their lives forever. Not to mention she was the daughter of the devil.

Now the misadventures of Hank Moody, a writer who lost his soul to sexy and drugs. I love Californication. It´s one of the most innovating series of Today´s TV. I have both seasons and I´m watching the third and It´s pretty amazing, just like the previous two seasons. As a writer, I identify myself with hank, besides the sexual content and his lucky to find girls willing for sexual adventures. I can´t live without my Californication fix, I just can´t.

At last but not least, My Buffy boxes, as well as my Psych, Chuck and Wolverine and The X-Men. Buffy is always good to watch, Psych is funnier no matter the episode and Chuck is Chuck, I can´t say how I love Chuck. I just finished watching the second season and I can´t wait for the third. Chuck and his new powers... Psych is my Friday night funny hour, 11 pm and one hour of laughing and joy.

It´s over. I have more but I´ll take them for another opportunity. You all had the chance to see some fantastic items of my DVD collection. Give one of those pics a try. I know you´ll have fantastic moments and you´ll know what I am talking about. and I´ll end up with a quote from one of mt favourite dead Like me characters Betty, she used to say it all the time so..." Happy thoughts".
